I strive to bring out the natural rhythm in which women are comfortable laboring. I love to learn and support mom's in the many variables that play in to birth and to observe and support the choices that women make for themselves and their babies in these situations. As a doula I am passionate about bringing the most conducive environment for labor and birth to each woman I serve. I am a big supporter of helping women feel empowered in their decision to have an unmedicated childbirth if they choose to but know that whatever way a mother chooses to birth is right for them.

I am a DONA trained doula in the process of certification. I was attending school to become an Early Childhood Educator with the plans to eventually become certified as a Montessori Teacher when I discovered my love for birth work. It all started with researching the way babies are influenced in their earliest moments in this world and how we can shape and support that. The Montessori method directly plays into how I feel about the way our environment changes our ability to live and learn as we were naturally meant to.

I am a self-proclaimed nerd and “birth-junkie” and take every opportunity to scour the internet (and Pinterest) to save snippets of new information that I can’t bare to pass up. I am told that I am a birth “sprite” and am always asking questions and seeking new information!
